The client had to replace the existing crane onboard; a new crane was selected and acquired, as the old location of the crane was not suitable the new crane required new support structure and power. The client’s time line for completion allowed for zero slippage as the vessel was committed to a critical charter. Completion was achieved on time and the vessel went back to work on time even though the scope of work increased from only installing the crane to fitting and testing a Dacon Scoop for personnel retrieval and modifying crash rail structure prior to vessel departure
